The Church Audio Video team includes two worship pastors, a mechanical engineer, a genetic engineer, two former business owners, and several working musicians and sound technicians. Our diverse talents combine to produce exceptional results in every endeavor we pursue. In addition, each member of our team is a devoted follower of Christ.
When Jeff joined ProAudio.com in 2004, it soon became obvious that he belonged in the field. In 2006, following multiple requests from local churches for on-site assistance, he established ProAudio.com’s Design/Build Division (now Church Audio Video). The Church Audio Video team has since grown to include eight full- and part-time employees under Jeff’s leadership, and he is thrilled to be doing what he does best – helping churches fulfill their unique purposes and visions.
With over 25 years of experience on staff at various churches, Jeff is keenly aware of the evolving needs of houses of worship. Jeff has a variety of qualifications that make him ideally suited to design, install and support church A/V/L systems – a longtime recording/live sound engineer, project studio owner, radio producer, consultant, and conference presenter, he also serves as a worship leader in his home church. Jeff holds a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and is a Certified Church Consultant for the National Association of Church Design Builders. Everyone who meets Jeff instantly recognizes his passions for technology, people, and the church; he particularly enjoys meeting with new clients to assess their needs and develop creative solutions. Jeff has been married to Thana since 1990 and they have two children.
Mark began his electronics career by taking apart telephone plugs at the age of four. After working in the consumer electronics industry and studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in college, Mark co-founded two different audio/video integration companies, where he directed all installations. He also worked for many years as an install technician for a major Fort Worth-based professional A/V contracting and design/build firm. In 2008, Mark joined the ProAudio.com Design/Build team and he now serves as lead designer on all Church Audio Video projects. When he’s not on a jobsite or troubleshooting our computer network, he spends his evenings and weekends working as the technical team leader and lead sound engineer at his home church. Mark enjoys solving complex technical problems and making sure all details are covered to ensure that systems run at their optimum performance level. He and his wife Lauren have three sons.
Juan joined us in 2010 to work with our Spanish-speaking customers. A native of Chile, where he earned his Agriculture Science Bachelor’s degree, Juan moved to California in the 1990s to work in genetic research. He became interested in technology after working for a communications company, and went on to study electronics at San Mateo College and mixing at the California Recording Institute in San Francisco. In 2000, he moved to Texas to attend Christ for the Nations, where he graduated with a Practical Theological degree. Juan has always been drawn to music and worship; he has worked as a sound engineer for The Potter’s House and Gateway Church, two well-known D/FW-area ministries, and he owned an A/V installation company just prior to joining ProAudio.com. He also currently serves as the Media Coordinator and Hispanic Ministry Pastor at St. John’s Church in Grand Prairie. Juan and his wife Claudia have been married since 1990 and they have two daughters.
Shane joined Church Audio Video in 2012 while studying Music Business at Dallas Baptist University. He has a worship band cleverly named Shane Clements Band and has performed at many churches and venues throughout the D/FW area. In addition to playing and leading worship at his home church, he has also served as Director of Maintenance for the past five years, lending his hands-on experience to our team. Having played and led worship for over eight years, Shane is passionate about the technology and vast resources available not only to his church, but to non-technical facilities as well. Shane’s desire is to see the church reflect God to the best of its potential, and by joining Church Audio Video, he aims to help others share his passion and desires within their own church.
