In addition, each member of our team is a devoted follower of Christ.
When Jeff joined ProAudio.com in 2004, it soon became obvious that he belonged in the field. In 2006, following multiple requests from local churches for on-site assistance, he established ProAudio.com’s Design/Build Division (now Church Audio Video). The Church Audio Video team has since grown to include eight full- and part-time employees under Jeff’s leadership, and he is thrilled to be doing what he does best – helping churches fulfill their unique purposes and visions.
With over 25 years of experience on staff at various churches, Jeff is keenly aware of the evolving needs of houses of worship. Jeff has a variety of qualifications that make him ideally suited to design, install and support church A/V/L systems – a longtime recording/live sound engineer, project studio owner, radio producer, consultant, and conference presenter, he also serves as a worship leader in his home church. Jeff holds a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and is a Certified Church Consultant for the National Association of Church Design Builders. Everyone who meets Jeff instantly recognizes his passions for technology, people, and the church; he particularly enjoys meeting with new clients to assess their needs and develop creative solutions. Jeff has been married to Thana since 1990 and they have two children.
Mark began his electronics career by taking apart telephone plugs at the age of four. After working in the consumer electronics industry and studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in college, Mark co-founded two different audio/video integration companies, where he directed all installations. He also worked for many years as an install technician for a major Fort Worth-based professional A/V contracting and design/build firm. In 2008, Mark joined the ProAudio.com Design/Build team and he now serves as lead designer on all Church Audio Video projects. When he’s not drawing in CAD or creating an acoustic model, he spends his personal time dabbling in programming, electronics design, or playing with his kids. Mark enjoys solving complex technical problems and making sure all details are covered to ensure that systems run at their optimum performance level. He and his wife Lauren have four sons.
Tim is the newest addition to our sales team, but is by no means new to the business. He has over 17 years’ experience as a pro audio sales account manager and also spent 12 years operating his own rental and engineering company, where he earned his reputation as a respected FOH engineer and production manager. He holds a degree in graphic arts and lithography from Oklahoma State University. Tim spends his leisure time reading, cycling, collecting vinyl LPs, wrestling with two 80+ pound dogs, and administering (often ignored) life advice to his adult children Lauren and Joel.
Juan joined us in 2010 to work with our Spanish-speaking customers. A native of Chile, where he earned his Agriculture Science Bachelor’s degree, Juan moved to California in the 1990s to work in genetic research. He became interested in technology after working for a communications company, and went on to study electronics at San Mateo College and mixing at the California Recording Institute in San Francisco. In 2000, he moved to Texas to attend Christ for the Nations, where he graduated with a Practical Theological degree. Juan has always been drawn to music and worship; he has worked as a sound engineer for The Potter’s House and Gateway Church, two well-known D/FW-area ministries, and he owned an A/V installation company just prior to joining ProAudio.com. He also currently serves as the Media Coordinator and Hispanic Ministry Pastor at St. John’s Church in Grand Prairie. Juan and his wife Claudia have been married since 1990 and they have two daughters.
David came to Church Audio Video in 2013 to assist with order logistics and project efficiency. With a degree in Multimedia Communications from Oral Roberts University and 15+ years in the industry, he brings a depth of experience that is invaluable to our team. After starting out as a grip for a live nationally-broadcast TV station, he went on to become Sales/Install Manager for a home theater A/V integrator and then System Sales & Design Manager for the State of Texas. He also spent 7 years as a sound engineer for a 10K-member church, and he volunteers in the media department of his own church. In his spare time, David enjoys building and tuning home theater A/V systems and fishing with his wife Shannon and their three children.
A technical genius at problem solving, Jeremiah has been building electromechanical contraptions since he was ten years old. He is the guy you call when you need something fixed! Jer’s talent for structural physics lends itself well to the A/V industry, where he has worked for various installation companies and did contract work for Church Audio Video prior to joining us full time in 2013. In his role as Project Lead, Jer works on system design, planning and supervising our installers on-site. When he’s not tinkering with computers or anything mechanical, he can be found in his darkroom, watching Dr. Who reruns, or spending time with Jessica and Amara, his wife- and daughter-to-be.
Brandon started operating sound systems when he entered his church’s youth group and has since run sound in several churches. He joined the Church Audio Video team in 2011 as an Installation Tech and works mostly on job sites installing, configuring and tuning our customers’ A/V/L equipment; he has a natural inclination for lighting systems. Brandon is married and enjoys the outdoors.
